The Defender is sometimes regarded as a recluse as a superhero. His method of operating is as mysterious as the rather large sky needle he dwells in far above a national forest. The Defender defends a rather large territory, consisting of four bordering states. What is known is his powers comes from a gem which is against his chest, encased in a near indestructable transparent dome. This gem enables the Defender to perform a type of alchemy where he can alter matter and energy to his will.
